Cloud/DevSecOps Support Services

For both Defense and Civilian agencies, Credence provides cost-saving, secure, and tailored Cloud solutions, regardless of hosting provider. For DLA, we migrated systems from a data center to a secure AWS Cloud in record time: five applications successfully operating in the Cloud in less than four months. For USAID, Credence deployed a global project management and tracking solution that supported more than 50 countriesthe most widely deployed solution on Force.Net at the time.

Modernization of PIEE Hosting System

Since 2019, Credence has supported the Defense Logistics Agency (DLA) to further enhance and modernize the Procurement Integrated Enterprise Environment (PIEE) hosting system. Within four months of contract award, five systems were successfully migrated to the Amazon Web Services (AWS) Cloud. Using the provision of Infrastructure-as-a-Service (IaaS), the PIEE hosting system makes it possible for many procurement systems across government agencies to have better capabilities for integration between agency systems to support procurement. By partnering with AWS, Credence provides implementation of a new AWS GovCloud environment and migration of applications to support hosting and storage needs. Credence manages and maintains the infrastructure and uses Agile development processes to provide software development and testing.

Cloud-Based System Management

DLA’s Enterprise Linked Logistics Information System (ELLIS) is a program that enables the execution, tracking, measurement, and analysis of Direct Vendor Delivery (DVD) contracts through system enhancements, sustainment, hardening, and hosting. Credence’s task is to transform the ELLIS program into a cloud-based system that will efficiently track and monitor contractor performance data. Our team provides services for contract monitoring through analytical reporting, data management, display and delivery, Information Assurance (IA) including OS and application hardening and applying DISA STIGs to network and compute instances, rich data visualizations and project management.

Establishing Cloud Infrastructure

Breaking new ground at the Department of Housing and Urban Development, Credence established the infrastructure and deployed the first systems to the HUD Azure Cloud. Our team established cloud-based development environments, a standard technology profile and supporting DevSecOps capabilities that enabled the first five systems to be deployed to the new environment. To prepare their workforce for the new environment, Credence also supported HUD in updating their IT policy and governance structures to facilitate agile software development and Cloud-based deployment and operations..
