August 14, 2024 — Since the 1970s, the U.S. has welcomed over 3 million refugees from all over the world. In true American fashion, immigrants and refugees have been able to receive critical necessities and support to help them successfully establish themselves and build new lives through the support of local communities across the country.
Founded in 2019 by a Washington D.C. high school student, The Immigrant & Refugee Outreach Center (IROC) helps hundreds of immigrant and refugee families acclimate to life in the U.S by providing essential supplies and urgent support. This timely outreach and assistance helps immigrants and refugees settle into life in the U.S. and puts them on the path to self-sufficiency.
With the generous support of Credence employees and our donation matching program, we are honored to partner with IROC to provide essential supplies such as infant care items, personal toiletries, cleaning supplies and more, putting Credence’s values into practice. Together, we are helping to ensure that these families receive assistance and care in their time of need.
