SeaPort-e ID/IQ Contract (Sponsored By NAVSEA)

Credence has been awarded a Prime Contract to support SeaPort Enhanced (SeaPort-e), the Navy’s electronic platform for acquiring a variety of support services. Services to be provided under this contract are categorized into 22 functional services areas, which include – Research and Development; System and Process Engineering; Modeling and Simulation; Prototyping and Fabrication; System Design; Software Engineering; Reliability, Maintainability, and Availability (RM&A); Human Factors; System Safety Engineering; Configuration Management (CM); Quality Assurance (QA); Information System (IS), Information Assurance (IA), and Information Technology (IT); Inactivation and Disposal; Interoperability, Test and Evaluation; Measurement Facilities and Instrumentation; Logistics; Supply and Provisioning; Training; In-Service Engineering; Program Support; Functional and Administrative; and Public Affairs.

Credence Quality Assurance Program

Credence has an established Quality Management function to ensure that we incorporate quality processes and measures into all our organizational activities. We emphasize a proactive approach to addressing product and quality assurance during the entire software development life cycle using an iterative approach that necessitates early establishment of test and configuration management procedures to support the release of incremental functionality.

Our Quality Management System (QMS) includes a repository of processes which not only embeds best practices from the industry, but also caters to the requirements of a diverse set of standards and models. We follow a number of industry best practices, which we integrate in all of our customer engagements. These include, Capability Maturity Model Integration (CMMI), International Organization for Standardization (ISO), Institute of Electrical and Electronics Engineers (IEEE), Information Technology Infrastructure Library (ITIL), and American National Standards Institute (ANSI).

Our management approach follows the Project Management Body of Knowledge (PMBOK), and combines comprehensive planning, disciplined maintenance of the project baseline, and Earned Value Management (EVM) analysis to provide greater visibility into program performance. Our process and procedures are continuously refined by incorporating lessons learned and best practices as part of our focus on continuous process improvement.
