News:
September 16, 2014 – Credence has been appraised by Teradata Corporation at Level 3 of the CMMI Institute’s Capability Maturity Model Integration (CMMI). Through this noteworthy accomplishment, we demonstrate to present and future clients our standard of excellence using process descriptions and procedures. At CMMI Level 3, processes are managed more proactively using an understanding of the interrelationship between process activities, detailed measures of the process, its ensuing work products, and it services.
By adapting the CMMI for Development Version 1.3 Level 3, Credence once again proves that the process system we have built underscores and facilitates our commitment of excellence between our management, our employees, our customers, and our industry partners. By attaining CMMI Level 3, we are able to tailor, measure, and formally rate the maturity of business and governmental practices against the best practices elsewhere in the industry.
When Carnegie Mellon University’s Software Engineering Institute (SEI) conceived its standards for CMMI, it addressed the scope of what clients should expect from professionals serving in the field. At Credence, we did not tackle CMMI appraisal because it was easy, but because we wanted the best for our clients.
