July 3, 2019 – Credence is excited to be supporting the Defense Logistics Agency (DLA) to further enhance and modernize the Procurement Integrated Enterprise Environment (PIEE) hosting system. Using the provision of Infrastructure-as-a-Service (IaaS), the PIEE hosting system makes it possible for many procurement systems across government agencies to have better capabilities for integration between agency systems to support procurement. By collaborating with Amazon Web Services (AWS), Credence will provide implementation of a new AWS GovCloud environment and migration of applications to support hosting and storage needs. Credence will manage and maintain the infrastructure and use Agile development processes to provide software development and testing. Other key elements of Credence’s custom solution will include providing and updating standardized procedures for lifecycle management; Impact Level 5 authorized security; Native Artificial Intelligence (AI) and Robotic Process Automation (RPA) capabilities; Infrastructure-as-Code (IAC); Development, Security, and Operations (DevSecOps); Software-as-a-Service (SaaS); Data-as-a-Service (DaaS); and Reference-Architecture-as-a-Service (RaaS) capabilities in one common environment.
